In these last few days of 2009 I am really enjoying my family and friends and thinking about how thankful I am for everyone that I have in my life. The last 10 years have been the greatest of my life, especially the last 18 months. We moved away from our hometown. It was absolutely terrifying but we were just not happy there anymore and change had to happen so we left everything that we knew, everything that was comfortable. I’m so happy we did. We’ve all met some wonderful new friends and some great neighbors. My family and I are so much happier than we’ve ever been, for that I will be forever grateful. I hope that the next 10 will be just as great.
In the next couple of weeks I will be starting my new photography project. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am looking forward to pushing myself out of my comfort zone to see what else is there, and I’m scared because I’m afraid that once I do that I’ll find out there’s nothing there and that there is no depth to what I see photographically and therefor will be stuck in “flowerville” for eternity. I will go on anyway, face my fears head on because there is so much more to life than the pretty flowers.
I want to wish all my family, friends and everyone else a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
I wish you all the best in 2010!!!
